Rama S. Moorthy, CEO
Rama Moorthy has 20+ years of experience in the high-tech industry delivering products, services and strategies. Her experience includes the management of product lines and groups with revenues exceeding $230M/year. She has driven corporate wide strategies in enterprise security, helped establish standards organizations, and developed and introduced products and services into both commercial and defense market segments. She has extensive management experience in the building and redirection of organizations and their associated strategies. In addition, she has experience in new product and services development, product line management, business development and sales with such companies as Booz Allen Hamilton, Sun Microsystems, Siemens/Infineon, Network Associates and AMD.
Ms. Moorthy, since late 2004, has been focused on the Government Sector developing and managing software assurance and assured software development services. At Hatha Systems, along with her role as CEO, she supports the Assistant Secretary of Defense of Network and Information Integration (ASD NII - DoD CIO) Globalization Task Force leadership on software assurance and supply chain risk management. She is a principal author of the NDIA Engineering for System Assurance Guidebook and is supporting the CIOs office in the development of supply chain risk management guidance. She is Hatha's representative to the Information Technology Sector Coordinating Council (ITSCC) for Infrastructure Protection and holds a board membership in the World Wide Consortium for the Grid (W2COG). Ms. Moorthy earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Business Administration (Marketing and Finance) from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
Marty Fletcher, Chief Operating Officer
Marty Fletcher brings more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, product marketing, and executive leadership in the computer industry to the company. He most recently was the co-founder of Third Brigade and served as the VP of Business Development for the Ottawa-based Host Intrusion Prevention security company. Third Brigade was acquired by Trend Micro, a relationship that Marty established and nurtured. Mr. Fletcher has an established record of leading organizational change and driving new businesses. He has had extensive success managing and motivating sales and marketing teams, implementing direct and indirect sales models worldwide, and launching and promoting new products.
Prior to Third Brigade, Mr. Fletcher was the Sr. Director of Alliances for Klocwork, a Nortel Networks spin-off. He led Entrust Corporation into a new market while Sr. Director of their Wireless Business Group. He has also held the position of VP of Sales and Marketing for the Compaq-branded products at GENICOM Corporation. Mr. Fletcher served as Director, Americas' Sales and Marketing for Digital Equipment Corporation's Components and Peripherals Business Unit, and as Director of Channel Marketing for Conner Peripherals. Additionally, he managed marketing and customer support activities for Boca Research, Inc. and served as Chief of the Small Computer Technical Support Center and Chief of the Large Systems Requirements Team for the Seventh Communications Group while serving as a United States Air Force Officer stationed at the Pentagon.
Mr. Fletcher has Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Computer Science from the Warrington College of Business Administration, University of Florida.
Mike Oara, Chief Technology Officer
Mike Oara is one of the few veterans of the new discipline of Application Modernization. He started his career in early 80?s working in the financial industry in New York, where he was exposed to the very technologies which are today in need of modernization. He worked for commercial and investment banks, where he developed risk reduction optimization algorithms and participated in the development of advanced CASE technology.
Mike started his research in the area of application modernization in the early 90?s, while working at Seer Technologies, a joint venture of First Boston and IBM. He developed one of the world?s first Function Points Analyzer and tools for bringing COBOL applications into the world of CASE technology. In 1997, with three other former Seer employees, he founded Relativity Technologies (acquired by Micro Focus in 2008), where he had the position of CTO. At Relativity, he developed technologies for application analysis and modernization, which were later used all over the world and across many industries, being adopted by some large system integrators. He pioneered new solutions for business rule extraction, creating robust and practical extraction methodologies. At Hatha Systems he is responsible for the delivery of third-generation modernization solutions. Mike has a MS in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest and is an accomplished presenter and author of multiple articles.
